Membership meeting set Saturday for Clinton Twp. Rescue and Fire

Chief Aaron Littrell of the Clinton Township Rescue and Volunteer Fire Department has announced that a membership drive is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 25.

Featuring a question-and-answer session, the membership drive will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Clinton Township Fire Department building, located at 4218 W. CR 450 North, Greencastle.

Coffee and doughnuts will be provided.

"Becoming a volunteer firefighter is a wonderful way to serve in your community," Chief Littrell said.

"Over 90 percent of the firefighters in the United States are volunteer firefighters," he added. "These men and women live in the community and want to make it a safer place.

"We encourage anyone who ever thought about becoming a firefighter and who is up for a challenge to learn more about this unique experience."
