Rosalie Virginia Hauser Frank

Rosalie Virginia Hauser Frank, 83, of Patricksburg, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012.

Rose, the youngest child of William Henry Harrison Hauser and Selma Dayhuff Hauser, was born March 30, 1928 in Owen County.

Rose worked at the Spencer Evening World, the US Geological Survey at Indiana University and retired from Hoosier Energy. She enjoyed singing, gardening, family, church and was an avid IU Basketball fan. Rose traveled to Alaska, Hawaii, Australia, Europe, Israel and many shorter trips.

Rose was married to Archie Brumfield, the father of her sons, to Donald Easton, who helped raise them, and Herschel Frank, with whom she spent her "Golden Years".

Rose was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Lena (Tom) Dunigan, Ted (Mabel) Hauser and Maxine (Howard) Inman.

Rose is survived by her husband Herschel, sons Lonnie (Diana) and Lynn (Linda); grandchildren Brian, Natalie (Tony) Bell, Brittany and Bret; four great-grandchildren; and siblings Lela (Elmer) Nikirk, Dewey (Evelyn), Marjorie (Charles) Main and Dwight (Sally); numerous nieces and nephews; and and stepson Jeff (Linda) Frank.

Visitation will be Friday at her family church, Antioch Christian, between 11 a.m.-1 p.m. with service following.

Arrangements are being handled by West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home, Spencer.
