Loretta R. Plunkett

Loretta R. Plunkett, 75, Plainfield, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012 in Hendricks Regional Health.

Born Sept. 10, 1936 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Orville and Margarete Baine Rusher.

Loretta married William Plunkett in December 1966, and he survives.

She worked as a non-food stocker and cashier for Kroger in Speedway and Marwood for 23 years, retiring in 1995.

Mrs. Plunkett was a member of the Hazelwood Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband Bill; sons Gene, Donnie (Denise) and Dave (Becky) Plunkett; stepdaughter Kathy Taylor; sister Donna Jeffries; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Donald, William and Norman Rusher.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 17 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with entombment to follow in Westridge Park Cemetery Mausoleum, Indianapolis.

Calling will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service in the funeral home.
