Maxine B. Allee

Maxine B. Allee, 94, Cloverdale, passed away on March 27, 2012 at the Mill Pond Health Campus, Greencastle.

She was born on June 27, 1917 at Quincy, Ind., and was the daughter of the late Harry Stevenson and Zora May (Scobee) Beaman.

She married Ray Wesley Allee on May 24, 1941, and he preceded her in death on March 18, 1991.

She was a retired postmaster from the Quincy Post Office.

She was a member of the former Quincy Methodist Church, and after it closed, she attended the Quincy Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Carolyn Cooper and husband Robert, Clayton, Rudy G. Allee and wife Joanne, Quincy, and Dan Allee, Clayton; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy Marilyn Beaman and Lucille Hockman; her brother, Harold Cleo Beaman; and her grandson, Scott Cooper.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 31 at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 31 from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mannan Cemetery.
