Cooper - 65th Anniversary

H. Lloyd and Marjorie M. Cooper of Greencastle will celebrate their 65th anniversary on Thursday, April 5.

Lloyd and Marjorie left Greencastle in 1974. Lloyd was the Greencastle High School principal and Marjorie was the secretary of Miller Elementary School. They went to Indianapolis, where Lloyd took over as principal of Warren Central High School and eventually as assistant superintendent of Warren Schools. Following his retirement in 1986, they moved back to Greencastle.

They are the parents of Scott (Margie) Cooper of Zionsville, LuAnn (Doug) Bumgardner of Greencastle and Sally (Morris) Coffman of Greencastle. They also have four grandchildren, Matt, Craig, Carson and Angie, and three great-grandchildren, Kensie, Jacie and Collin.
