Cougars get big win over Rox

ROCKVILLE -- The North Putnam baseball team defeated Rockville 13-7 Thursday on the road.

Kaleb Belcher was 2-for-4 with three RBI, while Kyler Badten went 2-for-4. Coy Flynn was 2-for-3, including a first-pitch home run to open the game.

Jake Haste and Shane Beaman had two hits each, with Jordan Nauert and Beau Green adding a hit each.

Flynn pitched 2.2 innings and struck out four to get the win.
