BAINBRIDGE -- C.F. Jones Group, a Lebanon contracting, consulting and construction firm, recently served as the general contractor of the new Bainbridge Hub of Co-Alliance LLC.

The innovative terminal is located at 7600 N. CR 200 East Bainbridge, and will supply plants in Putnam, Hendricks, Boone and other surrounding counties.

Ceco pre-engineered the structure, while C.F. Jones oversaw the construction of the 5,000-square-foot liquid fertilizer distribution terminal that is expected to move 25,000 tons of product each year.

The hub features two bays for semi-trailer loading that can receive up to 60 trucks per day, with load-outs of 600 gallons per minute.

Another feature includes a rail spur with maximum unloading times of 1,500 gallons per minute. The storage tank can hold product from 200 railcars carrying 100 tons each for a total of two million gallons of product.

"This terminal will help provide a cost-effective solution for distributing Co-Alliance's products to the farm families of Central Indiana," Fred Jones, president of C.F. Jones, said.

Jones managed construction of the Co-Alliance terminal with Boone County Electric, W Design Associates and Co-Alliance serving as the electrician, architect and operating project partners.
