Lorraine H. Pronckus

Lorraine H. Pronckus, 88, of Bainbridge, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2012.

She was born on Dec. 18, 1923 in St. Paul, Minn., to John and Anna Brunner.

Mrs. Pronckus was a member of Bainbridge United Methodist Church, founding member of the Bainbridge Improvement Society, a member of the Ladies Shrine Auxiliary of Putnam County, past president VFW Post 1550 Ladies Auxiliary, and past president of the St. Paul American Legion.

Her parents, four brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.

Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Richard Pronckus; son William Freitag of Indianapolis; two grandchildren, Melissa and Thomas Edward; two great-grandchildren, Pauline and Rosalynn; and a great-great grandson, Jayden.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 19 at Bainbridge Cemetery with Rev. Randell Boys officiating.
