Designating April as Child Abuse Prevention Month and the week of April 22-28 as the Week of the Young Child, Greencastle Mayor Sue Murray signs a proclamation to that effect at City Hall. The mayoral proclamation calls upon Putnam County citizens, agencies, organizations, medical facilities and businesses to increase their participation in efforts to prevent child abuse as well as in support of early learning for all young children to help strengthen the communities in which we all live.
