Tiger Cub softball falls to Warriors 6-4

DANVILLE -- The Greencastle softball team fell to Danville 6-4 Saturday.

The Tiger Cubs fell behind early 3-0, but roared back to take the lead 4-3 after a four-run fourth inning. However, the Warriors scored three runs in two innings to gain the win.

Danielle Thomas was 1-for-3 for GHS, with a double and two RBI, with Erynn Beck and Riley Seahorn adding an RBI each. Kandice Phillips recorded two his on the day, with Thomas, Seahorn, Alex Basile and Danielle Hunt contributing hits.

Courtney Adams started for the Tiger Cubs and went five innings, allowing eight hits and collecting three strikeouts.
