Clovers place third in quad-meet
The Cloverdale Middle School girls' track team placed third in a quad-meet recently. Greencastle won with a tally of 80.5, with Cascade placing second with 63, Cloverdale third with 43.5 and Eminence was fourth with four points.
Naomi Williams won the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 18.75. Tori Foster won the shot put.
Cloverdale had five second place finishes on the night as well. Williams won the 100 and 200-meter dash, with Harley Manino winning the long jump. The 400-meter relay team of Saleena Cooper, Williams, Grace Rightmeyer and Lindsey Davis placed second.
