Food distribution on tap at Whitestone pantry Saturday

NEW WINCHESTER -- The Whitestone Food Pantry will conduct a food distribution effort from 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 5 at the food pantry, located at 8045 W. U.S. 36, west of New Winchester.

Distribution is geared to needy residents of Floyd Township in eastern Putnam County and Marion Township in western Hendricks County.

Recipients must provide a governmental photo ID, such as a driver's license or another official document that includes a photo. A second piece of identification, such as a current utility bill, is also necessary to be a recipient.
