Hospital Guild donation, efforts appreciated

To the Editor:

On behalf of the Putnam County Hospital Board of Trustees, administration and staff, we would like to publicly recognize, honor and thank the Putnam County Hospital Guild.

This month, Guild members Carolyn Flint and Fran Allen presented two checks to the Putnam County Hospital Board of Trustees during the monthly meeting.

The two checks totaled $12,000. The funds will be used to help refurnish and freshen the lobby areas on the first, second and fourth floors of the hospital.

The Guild has been in existence for many, many years and has always been very supportive of the hospital's mission for excellence.

We greatly appreciate their financial support and their countless hours of volunteering as well as their service to our community.
