Names of local veterans sought to include in show

Friday, June 8, 2012

Susan Anthony and Duane Skoog, the co-producers of the third annual Dixie Chopper 20th Century Radio Show, are soliciting the names of local veterans to include in this year's show.

Anthony and Skoog are looking for any veteran who served during World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Grenada, Panama, Desert Storm or the current conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq.

While seeking the names of local veterans to be included in the annual show, both producers stated, "the veteran does not have had to serve in a combat role.."

They are looking for the names of any local veteran, and of particular interest this year are the names of female military veterans.

When submitting the names of veterans to be considered, persons are asked to include their time of service, service location, rank, branch of the armed services and a number that the producers can use to contact you. This will allow the producers to develop a more accurate profile of the local individual veteran.

Persons may contact Duane Skoog at either 363-2093 or gdskoog@depauw.edu.
