Sheriff's deputies and emergency medical personnel respond to the scene of a one-vehicle crash on West Walnut Street west of Greencastle Tuesday afternoon.

A Reelsville teen was treated for chest injuries after rolling his vehicle several times and being ejected into a bean field Tuesday afternoon.

Shortly after 12:30 p.m., Trevor D. Smith, 18, was westbound on West Walnut Street approaching County Road 500 West.

As he exited a curve in the road, Smith lost control of his 2005 Scion TC. The vehicle rotated clockwise as it left the north side of the road and entered the bean field.

In the field, the vehicle rolled several times, coming to rest upright facing northeast.

Smith was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected during the wreck. He was located five feet away, to the east of the vehicle.

Operation Life transported Smith from the scene for the treatment of internal injuries to his chest.
