GHS boys' soccer scores dramatic win

MONROVIA -- The Greencastle boys' soccer team kicked off its season with a 2-1 win over Monrovia Monday

Nick Tharp scored a big second half goal to tie the game at 1-all after Monrovia's Zach Langlais scored earlier in the half. The contest ended in the 1-all tie and went to a shootout.

In the shootout, Greencastle was able to edged the Bulldogs 1-0 to earn the win.

Keeper Zane Miller tallied 11 saves and got the win.

Greencastle will travel to Lebanon Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
