North Putnam High School hosting annual golf scramble Sept. 23

The North Putnam High School Athletic Department will be hosting its annual golf outing on Sunday, Sept. 23 at Clover Meadows Golf Course. This year the 18 hole golf scramble will be held in conjunction with homecoming weekend.

As in the past, teams will consist of a four person team at a cost of $50 per person or $25 per student, which includes lunch, green fees, golf carts and prizes for the golf event.

Registration for the scramble will begin at 11:30 a.m., with lunch starting at noon and a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Along with first and second place winning teams, other special contests during the event will include longest drive, longest putt, closest to pin, and various door prizes.

Entry forms may be picked up at the NPHS Administrative Office, the NPHS Athletic Office or may be downloaded online from the NPHS website at www.nputnam.k12.in.us. Return entry forms with payment to North Putnam High School, Attn. Nathan Martindale, 8869 N CR 250 E, Roachdale, IN 46172.

The school will also offering sponsorships for the golf scramble at $25, $50 and $100 or more.
