Monday, August 27, 2012

DECATUR, IL - Neal Tire and Auto is working with communities to collect school supplies for area students. Neal has set up drop boxes for supplies at each of their 28 locations in Illinois and Indiana for customers to help local schools. The supplies collected at each location will be donated to one school in that community that needs additional assistance.

"School supplies are expensive, but necessary for kids at all grade levels to start the year. The supply drive is just one way we can help area schools and families with the items they need for the school year," said Scott Carlon, Neal Tire Director of Marketing.

Supplies accepted through this drive include: package(s) of 12 #2 pencils, glue sticks, pink erasers, pencil case, pocket folders, lined paper, lined notebooks, blue and red pens, rulers, pencil crayons, boxes of tissue, one while glue, 500 sheets of printing paper and 24 box of crayons.

The drive will run through the end of August. Everyone who donates at least five items from the list will receive an oil change for $14.99.
