Might as well Jump

Taking the lyrics to the 1980s rock anthem "Jump" to heart, veteran Indianapolis rocker Bill Hayes leaps into action on the Greencastle Music Festival stage Saturday night. Hayes and his band mates from The Flying Toasters were the headline act on the day as the third annual festival entertained a large crowd on the north side of the courthouse square.

A large crowd, beautiful weather and some rocking music delighted concertgoers at the third annual Greencastle Music Festival Saturday night on the courthouse square.

Putting their guitars and flying fingers together, band mates Orvis Kirkwood (at left) and Jason Hayes of The Flying Toasters slam out the famous guitar solo to "Free Bird." The Indianapolis-based Toasters were preceded to the stage by the rock band Ellusion (below) from Terre Haute. York Automotive was the main sponsor for this year's show, which was founded and is still hosted by Gail Smith of Almost Home and the Swizzle Stick.
