The 13th annual Putnam County Airport Appreciation Days, Saturday and Sunday at the airport, again marked a weekend of discovery for young people. Eleven-year-old Quentyn Bartley (left) of Greencastle took a Young Eagle Ride in a Cessna 150 with EAA pilot Chad Brezina.

Overcoming a number of fears on Saturday was 11-year-old Zander Williams of Greencastle, who took flights in a helicopter and an airplane and climbed the U.S. Army Reserve rock wall.
