Cub Scout Night slated at McDonald's

Saturday, September 22, 2012

Cub Scouts from Pack 99 will kick off their season of Trails End Popcorn sales with an event on Monday, Sept. 24 at the Greencastle McDonald's.

The young Cub Scouts, local first- through fifth-grade boys, will join the McDonald's workforce during the event, helping clear tables and carry trays for McDonald's patrons.

Two types of Trails End microwave popcorn will be available for cash-and-carry purchase.

Ten percent of all McDonald's sales during the 5-8 p.m. period will benefit Pack 99, as well as roughly 35 percent of all popcorn sales.

Proceeds from the night will help to decrease the cost of all Scouting activities, and will help cover summer day camp fees for local Cub Scouts who cannot otherwise afford to attend.

Anyone who has questions about the event or wants to learn more can visit cubscoutpack99@gmail.com or find the event on Facebook.
