Covered Bridges of Putnam County Festival begins Oct. 12

Beginning Friday, Oct. 12, Friends of the Park in Northern Putnam County will be hosting the 2012 Covered Bridges of Putnam County Festival.

The 10-day event will be centralized on U.S. 36 at the west end of Bainbridge near the town hall.

The highlight of the festival is the Cruise-in, which will be held Sunday, Oct. 14 beginning at noon.

There will be a 50/50 drawing, as well as a food booth in the festival area, which will have ham and beans, hot dogs, conies, smoked sausages, coffee, unsweetened tea, sweet tea, water and hot cocoa available.

Vendor spaces are available.
