U.S. 231 South Reopens

Two days ahead of schedule, the barricades are gone and U.S. 231 South (Bloomington Street) reopened to through traffic Wednesday afternoon in Greencastle at its intersection with Anderson Street. The new, accent paving that will be part of the main entrance to the DePauw University campus is now in place. Meanwhile, construction work along the west end of Anderson Street (from Bloomington to Locust Street and the spectre of East College) will continue for approximately the next two months, city officials said.
