Story Time returns to the Putnam County Public Library this week.

Tuesday Family Time is scheduled to start Oct. 2 at 6:30 p.m.

After dinner, come to the library to enjoy some stories, games, songs, dances, and time with the family. This is a multi-age, multi-generational story time.

On Wednesday, In-Between Story Time is set for at 3:30 p.m.

Designed for all school-aged children, it is a themed-based story hour that incorporates social skills like communication and teamwork with various games and crafts that follow the theme of the stories read.

On Thursday, Toddler Time is scheduled for at 10 a.m.

Enjoy a 30-minute lap-sit story time for toddlers and their parents. The story time is filled with finger plays and incorporates some American sign language. Crafts will follow the story.

Thursday Raising Readers will begin at 11 a.m.

It is a theme-based story time designed for preschool-aged children who are just learning to read and listen. Each story time is followed by a craft that will help build social skills such as sharing, reinforce numbers and colors, and help with dexterity.

Anyone with questions may contact Cortina at 653-2755.

The Putnam County Public Library is located at 103 E. Poplar St., Greencastle.
