Dinner to benefit Daugherty family

REELSVILLE -- On Saturday, Oct. 13 there will be a benefit dinner for Terri and Doug Daugherty. The dinner will be at theReelsville Firehouse from 5-9 p.m.

Doug Daugherty was involved in a cycling accident a few months ago and has had several surgeries. Doug is still recovering in a rehabilitation/nursing home facility in Danville.

There will be a "free-will" donation dinner of chili, ham 'n' beans, cornbread, desserts and drinks. A basket raffle, bingo and a Texas Hold'em tournament will also take place.

The basket raffle tickets will be six tickets for $5 and bingo will cost $10 to play. Prizes will be awarded for the bingo winners. The Texas Hold'em tournament will be $15 to play and a cash prize will be awarded.

The benefit dinner is being held to help raise money for the medical costs of the Daughertys.
