Ridpath continues community tradition with pancake supper Thursday evening

Monday, October 29, 2012

Continuing a community tradition that dates back more than 50 years, Ridpath Primary will open its doors to the community for its annual Pancake Supper on Thursday, Nov. 1.

Guests at the event will enjoy all-you-can-eat pancakes as well as sausage and drinks.

Games for the children, including a cupcake walk, will be run throughout the building.

Additional offerings for the pancake supper guests include a silent auction featuring a wide variety of gift baskets, and musical entertainment by the students. Finally, the Scholastic Book Fair will be in operation in the school's media center, where guests may choose from a variety of educational and entertainment titles. Cash, check and credit card are accepted at the Book Fair.

The Ridpath Pancake Supper will be held Nov. 1, and pancakes will be "flipped" and served from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Tickets for the event are offered at a pre-sale cost of $4 per person through Oct. 31, or available at the door for $5.
