Greencastle NHS 'Turkey Trot' 5k effort on Nov. 17 to aid Food Pantry

The Greencastle High School National Honor Society will be having a 5k run/walk "Turkey Trot" on Saturday, Nov. 17 at the Putnam County Fairgrounds.

Registration begins at 8 a.m., and the race starts at 9.

Pre-registration is $20, including a "Turkey Trot" T-shirt.

A registration form is available through the Greencastle High School website under announcements or from the Greencastle High School office.

Racers will be divided into age groups, and each the winner of each age group will receive a free turkey.

All funds benefit the Food Pantry to aid during the approaching holiday season.
