County Jail

Several people have been booked into the Putnam County Jail recently.

* On Friday, Nov. 2 at 8:30 a.m. Cody Scott Callis, 23, Waynetown, was arrested for theft.

At 10:15 a.m. David Robert Baney, 49, Fort Wayne, was lodged at the jail for resisting law enforcement.

At 11:45 a.m. Ryan Paul Minor, 27, Greencastle, was charged with operating while intoxicated with a prior conviction.

At 12:15 p.m. Sarah Rene Holt, 27, Indianapolis, was held at the jail for theft.

At 8:33 p.m. Wesley Wiatt England, 28, Poland, was booked in for operating while intoxicated.

* On Saturday, Nov. 3 at 4:25 a.m. Joby Tyler Spencer, 18, Greencastle, was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs, operating while intoxicated, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

At 5:10 p.m. William Earl Carnell, 50, Brownsburg, was lodged at the jail for operating while intoxicated.

* On Sunday, Nov 4 at 1:43 a.m. Talitha Joanna Tincher, 45, no city listed, was charged with operating while intoxicated and public intoxication.

At 1:44 a.m. John Arthur Kruger, 60, Greencastle, was held at the jail for operating while intoxicated.

At 2:15 a.m. Thomas Lee Denney, 66, Greencastle, was booked in for operating while intoxicated with a prior conviction and driving with a suspended license.

At 3 a.m. Henry Burgess Jourdin Jr., 44, Avon, was arrested for operating while intoxicated.

At 5:48 a.m. Danielle Brittany Becker, 19, Greenwood, was lodged at the jail for operating while intoxicated and for being a minor in consumption of alcohol.

At 10:13 p.m. Spencer Andrew Roe, 21, Brazil, was charged with operating while intoxicated with a prior conviction.

At 10:30 p.m. Subramanian Arumagam, 35, Gainesville, Fla., was held at the jail for criminal recklessness, reckless driving and resisting law enforcement.

City Police

One recent traffic accident was reported by Greencastle City Police officers.

At 2:07 p.m. Saturday, a two-car mishap occurred at Indianapolis Road, just east of Franklin Street, at the stoplight in front of Kroger and Family Video.

John E. York, 41, Greencastle, was northbound, crossing over Indianapolis Road from the video store to Kroger, driving a 2004 Kia Sedona, when his car was struck by an eastbound 1991 Acura, driven by Rachel Neudeck, Reels-ville.

Capt. Mike Hanlon's report indicated Neudeck ran the red light and was unable to stop on wet pavement to avoid a collision.

Total damage in the accident was estimated at $1,000-$2,500.

Neudeck was ticketed for disregarding an automatic signal, while York was cited for driving with a suspended license.
