Cougars fall to 0-2 with loss to Danville Warriors

The North Putnam girls' basketball team dropped to 0-2 on the season with a 33-18 loss to Danville Saturday.

Kayla Kientz paced the Cougars with eight points, with Bethany Wiatt adding four. Sam Lucas scored three points, while Cassie Aynes added two and Morgan Smith one point.

Madi Asbell and Kientz led North Putnam in rebounding with five each. Brooke Matthews and Smith added four.

North Putnam will host Covington tonight at 5:30 p.m.
