Larry Estel Parrish Sr.
Larry Estel Parrish Sr., age 75, of Cloverdale, passed away Monday, Nov. 19, 2012 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.
Born April 1, 1937 in Putnam County, he was the son of Guy Estel Parrish and Margaret Bell (Higgins) Parrish.
He married Jolene Bracken, and she survives.
Larry had worked as a car salesman in Indianapolis. He served in the Navy.
His hobbies included fishing with his grandsons and spending time with his family.
Survivors in addition to his wife are his children, Vickie Allen, Greencastle, and Larry Estel Parrish Jr., Cloverdale; grandchildren Bradley Wade Allen, Cloverdale, Debra Lynn Blakely, Brownsburg, and Guy Houston-Parrish, Greencastle; great-grandchildren, Kainen Allen, West Virginia, Michael Blakely Jr. and Annaleigh Blakely, both of Brownsburg, and Mercy Parrish, Greencastle; brothers Rev. Jimmy Parrish, Eugene Parrish, Doug Parrish, Tim Parrish, Randy Parrish and Gary Lear; sisters Peggy Wright, Rebecca Burchett, Pamela Patterson, Debra Phillips and Shirley Knaur; and many nieces and nephews.
His parents, and a sister, Esther Venis, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be conducted Monday, Nov. 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bousley-Hays Funeral Home in Coatesville.
Services are set for 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Ernie Phillips and Pastor Jimmy Parrish officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery in Greencastle.
