Cloverdale middle school boys fall to Rockville

Saturday, December 1, 2012

Cooper Neese scored 46 of his team's 50 points, but it wasn't enough to secure a win as the Cloverdale eighth grade boys basketball team lost to Rockville recently, 55-50.

Seth Phaff and Ryan Heavener had two points each.

In the seventh grade game, Cloverdale lost 34-18.

Tyce Jackson led the Clovers with six points, followed by Dominic Brooks (four points), Drew Boyette (two), Nick Winders (two), T.J. Hagumasi (two) and Dylan Scott (two).

Coach Bill Boyette said the team was cold from the field and couldn't seem to make its shots.

The teams return to action at Clay City on Dec. 3.
