Sheriff's Department looking for holiday basket applicants

Wednesday, December 5, 2012
The Cloverdale Rockwell Foundation recently donated $1,500 in support of holiday baskets, many of which will go back to the Cloverdale community. Present for the donation were Phyliss Gaddis, Sheriff Steve Fenwick and Cathy Tipton. Not present for the donation was Dennis Padgett.

It's time again for nominations for the holiday baskets from the Putnam County Sheriff's Department.

Thanks to the money collected by the haunted trail and donations, the department is able to provide this service again this year.

If you or someone you know will be struggling this year to put food on the table, contact the PCSD to be put on the list for a food basket.

To put someone else or yourself on the list, persons may call 653-3210. Do not leave a message. Applicants must speak with someone personally, answer some questions and provide an exact name, address and contact phone number.

Participants must be Putnam County residents.

Names will be taken until Dec. 14. Baskets will be delivered Dec. 20 during the late afternoon or early evening.

  • Steve looks like he has lost weight. He looks better, but just older.
