Milk and Cookies with Santa event set for Saturday at Roachdale Christian Church

ROACHDALE -- Putnam County youngsters will have the chance not only to meet Santa Claus on Saturday, but to share in the jolly fat man's favorite treat.

Milk and Cookies with Santa is set for 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Dec. 8 in the Roachdale Christian Church fellowship hall.

The event is free to all Putnam County children from newborns up to age 10.

Besides milk and cookies, festivities will include games, crafts, letters to Santa, face painting, a clown, goodie bags and a new toy and book for each child.

The highlight of the day will be the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus and their elves on a firetruck.
