Eagles wrestlers get pair of wins

The South Putnam High School wrestling team defeated Rockville on Wednesday, 65-12.

Several wrestlers pinned their opponent, including Nick Owen, Jacob Lorimer, Marcus Ward, Tanner Thompson and Jacob Williams.

Jacob Camacho won by technical fall.

In the team's previous match, the Eagles defeated Monrovia, 49-15.

SPHS will next compete at Tri-West on Saturday in the Tri-West Invite at 8:30 a.m.
