William H. 'Bill' Jamison

William H. "Bill" Jamison, 88, Coatesville, passed away Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012 at his residence.

He was born in Hull, Texas, on Oct. 26, 1924, the son of William H. Jamison Sr. and Maude Mae Young Jamison.

He married Bonnie Jane Biehl and she preceded him on Feb. 18, 2006.

He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps in World War II.

Bill was a family business owner of Coatesville Farm Supply Company Inc. He was a member of the Coatesville United Methodist Church, Plainfield Masonic Lodge and was a past master. He was also former chief of the Coatesville Fire Dept.

Bill was known as a great story teller.


Survivors include daughter Connie Bartee of Coatesville; son William A. Jamison and wife Cheryl of Clayton; grandchildren Becky Trivett, Brenda Shaw, Laura Monday, Bonnie Craig, Billy Jamison and Bryan Jamison; great-grandchildren Danielle and James Trivett, Ethan and Mason Monday, Hadley, Lydia, Will and Ellie Jamison, Stephen and Matthew Shaw; sister Joann Zinn of Greensburg; brothers Lou Ronald Jamison of Florida and Jerry P. Jamison of Lafayette.

He was preceded by his parents, wife and sister Zoie Kramer.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013 at the Bousley-Hays Funeral Home, Coatesville, with Pastor Brenda Ann Bartee Shaw officiating. Burial with military honors will be in the Coatesville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2012 from 2-6 p.m.
