Harshbarger celebrates 20 years at HHSB

Monday, February 4, 2013

Tammy Harshbarger will celebrate her 20-year anniversary with Hoosier Heartland State Bank this month.

"Tammy performs an essential role here," said Trent Smaltz of HHSB. "It would be impossible to provide great customer service for our commercial and ag customers without her and her quick and efficient work. We are fortunate to have her at HHSB."

Harshbarger graduated from North Putnam High School and began her career in banking in the early 1980s at Elston Bank & Trust Co. She then worked for Farm Credit Services before becoming a loan officer at Hoosier Heartland State Bank.

In 1995, she became the branch manager at the Roachdale location. After that, she was promoted to her current position as Vice President of Ag and Commercial Lending.

"I have been fortunate to work with some pretty amazing and talented people here at Hoosier Heartland State Bank," Harshbarger said. "I truly enjoy being able to help our customers with their ag and commercial needs."

Tammy has lived in the Roachdale area most of her life and moved to Crawfordsville three years ago with husband Randy Harshbarger. Together they have six children and seven grandchildren.

When not working, Harshbarger enjoys golf, volleyball, traveling and spending time with her family.

HHSB is a locally owned and operated bank offering consumer and commercial banking products, investment services, phone, online and mobile banking and bill pay, personal service and more.
