PCPL to host meet and greet with new director

The Putnam County Public Library will be hosting a meet and greet event for its new director, Grier Carson, on Wednesday, March 12 at 6 p.m.

Carson, who previously worked in Illinois as director of academic technology at the Lake Forest Academy, officially began his position in the beginning of January.

Since starting at the Putnam County Public Library, Carson has already made strides to bring the library into the 21st century by updating its technology and even introducing new collections, such as a videogame collection, which will likely premier in April.

This event is open to all and light refreshments will be served.
