A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall

I could tell it was coming this morning as I drove to work. Then as I looked up at the sky walking to the building I thought, I'm glad I'm not doing this a half hour from now.
As it turned out, it was more like 45 minutes later. But sure enough, right around 9 a.m. the sky let loose with a hard, refreshing rain.
It came with some thunder and lightning as well, but not the scary, severe weather kind -- just the relaxing, wonders of nature sort of lightning.
I love the rain, especially when I can watch it from my office window and not go outside in it.
Speaking of which, I have an appointment in about 45 minutes. I hope there's a break by then.
