Slow down, baby
When I showed this to my son recently, he couldn't stop laughing. That alone makes it worth sharing.
But besides that, as a second-time parent, I find myself much more tired, busier and less full of wonder the second time around. That makes me sad because it means I'm not sharing every little thing that Hannah does the way I did with Miles.
It's unfortunate because she's every bit as beautiful and wonderful a child as he is.
At 10-1/2 months, we're now at the stage of almost walking and kind of talking.
The latest addition to her vocabulary: "Eat." We were greeted with that while trying to get her back to sleep at 5:30 a.m. Sunday.
As for the almost walking, that's what you're seeing here, courtesy of the time-lapse feature on my iPhone. Makes it look like we have the world's fastest baby.
And that's unfortunate because they're too fast the way it is. My five-year-old who seems like he was born last year proves that.
