John Wood still in the groove at age 90

Spending his 90th birthday the way he spent much of the last 60-plus years, John Wood (piano) plays a Friday-night show at the Greencastle Elks Lodge. Wood is joined on his special evening by regular John Wood Combo members Carol Hamm (bass), Bill James (saxophone and clarinet) and Donnie Hopkins (drums). The night also featured special guests such as Sandy Williams (guitar) as well as Steve Michael and Figgy Hardwick (not pictured). Longtime fans Jack and Carol Sowash were even moved enough to cut a rug for a couple of numbers.
