Ruby Mae Crosley, 80, Rockville, died Tuesday at Putnam County Hospital. Born in Hope, Ind., she was the daughter of James and Florence (Huff) Conner. A graduate of Pendleton High School, she was a member of Rockville Christian Church. She retired from G.C. Murphy Co. in Rockville after many years of service...

The Greencastle and South Putnam boys' and girls' track and field teams competed at DePauw University Tuesday. Greencastle's Andy Weatherford won the 1,600 with a time of 4:24.48 and the 800 with a time of 2:05.60. From being teammates on the playgrounds to facing off in high school, South Putnam's Drew Christy and Cloverdale's Chase Haltom have a long history.
