Evelyn S. Spencer, 88, Greencastle, died Friday at her residence at Asbury Towers. Born in Fillmore, she was the daughter of David Thomas and Ruth Irene (Lawson) Shuck. She was a 1938 graduate of Greencastle High School, and had worked at the Farm Bureau Co-op in Greencastle as a bookkeeper for 15 years. She also worked as a secretary at the Putnam County Board of Health for 25 years, retiring in September 1985. She was a member of Friends of the Library, BPW and Greencastle Alumni Association...
