Morris G. "Red" Boyce, 82, formerly of Poland and Brazil, died Thursday at The Waters of Greencastle where he had lived since January. Born in Center Point, he was the son of Raymond and Edith Youngblood Boyce. He began working as a mechanic at the former Jap Turner Garage in Brazil in 1943 and left in 1945 to become a coal miner for Big Bend Coal for seven years. From 1952-88, he was a dragline oiler for the AMAX mine south of Staunton before retiring...

A Reelsville man will face charges in both Clay and Putnam counties after a high speed pursuit involving the Brazil Police and the Clay and Putnam County sheriff's departments.
