Emergency repairs OK'd at sewage station

Members of the Greencastle Board of Works gave little argument Wednesday when they approved emergency repairs to one of the city's sewage lift stations. Lift stations are underground tanks that help move wastewater through the city's network of sewage pipes. Goal to eliminate public tobacco usage in 2007

If all goes according to a proposed plan from the Putnam County Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Program, businesses, restaurants, and all Greencastle city buildings will be smoke-free in 2007.
