The second total lunar eclipse of the year was visible in Greencastle in the early morning hours Tuesday, August 28. The Earth's shadow crept across the moon's surface, slowly eclipsing it and turning it to shades of red and orange. June Conrad, 73, Greencastle, died Tuesday at Putnam County Hospital. Born in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Earle and Helen (Townsend) Wiseman. She married Richard Conrad on Aug. 8, 1954, and he survives. She was a 1951 graduate of Greencastle High School and a 1954 graduate of the Indiana University School of Nursing.
