The Open Hearts Christian Fellowship team was the first winner of the traveling trophy of the new bowling league for churches. Sheriff's Dept. Sheriff's deputies responded to six car-deer crashes Friday. • Nancy L. Wilderman, 44, Rockville, told police she was driving west on U.S. 36 near County Road 400 West at about 5:25 a.m. when a deer ran in front of her. She told Lt. Danny Wallace that she then struck the deer with her 1999 Ford Ranger, causing less than $1,000 in damage, according to a police report...
