The Putnam County Prosecutor's Office filed charges against a fourth adult Friday, in connection to the December death of 17-year-old Dietrich Jackson. Law enforcement officials say more arrests are likely.

The Greencastle boys swim team fell to visiting Terre Haute North 111-74 Wednesday night. The Tiger Cubs scored five first place finishes on the night. Nick Stevens and Luke Crimmins were Greencastle's only individual winners on the night and the 200-freestyle relay team of Miles Salman, Jay Guffey, Crimmins and Stevens took the top spot with a time of 1:37.07...

The Greencastle seventh grade boys dropped a pair of games to Monrovia Thursday. The A-team lost a squeaker 29-28 while the B-team fell 29-20. The North Putnam seventh grade girls defeated Southmont 26-10 Thursday. Samantha Lucas led the Cougars with eight points, followed by Brook Matthews and Morgan Robinson with six points each. Lauren Haluem chipped in four points and Audrey Healey closed out North's scoring with two points...

A dismal first quarter shooting performance ultimately did in the North Putnam Cougars girls' junior varsity team. North lost to Greencastle 31-27 on the road Thursday. The trio of Shelby Frye, Shilah Kumaran and Dakota Malayer scored nine points each to account for all of the Cougars scoring...

Coming in to Thursday's Putnam County meet, the Greencastle Lady Tiger Sharks held the top seed in every single swimming event.
