A new plan to offer first aid training to managers in various departments at Putnam County Hospital is meant to ease the load on emergency room staff, hospital officials said. Director-choreographer Lita Sandy will have auditions for the musical "Footloose" on Sunday, April 6, at 3 p.m, and Monday, April 7, at 7 p.m. The auditions will be at the Hazel Day Longden Theatre of the Putnam County Playhouse in Greencastle. It appears customers of Greencastle utilities will have to wait a little longer to see if they will be able to start paying their monthly bills with credit or debit cards.
