Excellent weather welcomed track athletes who converged on South Putnam for the 2009 county track meet Tuesday. Greencastle had a big night and won both meets. In the boys' meet, Greencastlegirls placed first with 104 points, followed by North Putnam with 80, Cloverdale with 37 and South Putnam with 22. Board accepts Brookshire resignation

CLOVERDALE -- Cloverdale Middle School principal Jeff Brookshire has resigned from his position. During the regular school board meeting Monday night, board members voted 6 to 1 for all personnel changes including Brookshire's resignation. In March, it was confirmed by Superintendent Carrie Milner Brookshire had been placed on administrative leave.
