CLOVERDALE -- The Greencastle seventh grade girls' basketball teams stayed perfect on the season after a wins over Northridge. The A-team won 18-11, while the B-team won 30-12. For the A-squad, Callan Taylor led a balanced attack with six points, followed by Tera Amis and Sydney Smiley with four each. Brittany Welker scored two points and Delanie Stoltey and Jessica Lenihan chipped in a point each...

The Greencastle Youth Baseball League will hold signups Saturday and Feb. 20 at Deer Meadow and Tzouanakis from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

The Greencastle Girls Fastpitch Softball Club will hold signups Feb. 13 and Feb 20 at Arby's in Greencastle. Signups will take place from noon until 3 p.m. each day. The cost is $45 per member with additional siblings will be $35 each.

GREENCASTLE -- Arrest warrants were issued Wednesday through Putnam County Superior Court for 40 parents charged with criminal non-support of their dependent children. Parents in arrears in child support can be charged with a Class C felony, punishable by up to eight years in prison, if they owe more than $15,000 in back support. Those who owe less than $15,000 are subject to a Class D felony charge, which carries a maximum sentence of three years in jail...
